Visionary, Leader, Champion for Social & Emotional Learning

Joshua Reitzenstein has been a passionate educator for over a 15 years in the Beverly Hills Public schools. He holds his Master’s Degree from Antioch University in Educational Leadership and Change.

Joshua served in a myriad of ways within his school district. Teaching everything from preschool to the middle school’s counseling enriched classroom, coaching high school football, leading outdoor ed trips, coordinating PBIS and evening pioneering a mindfulness program - Joshua explores every avenue to enrich student well-being.

While currently guiding a high school special education classroom, Joshua most enjoys envisioning new ways to support youth and families in the journey through adolescence outside the walls of the classroom.

Joshua’s work is informed by his time living among the redwoods while supporting an award winning rites of passage youth program and his own rite of passage journey.

Most Recently, Joshua crossed the threshold into parenthood, raising his 2 year old in the hills of Los Angeles.
